Import 2D SVGs

Tinkercad Import supports SVG files. SVG is a language for describing two-dimensional vector graphics. SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics and it is used to define vector-based graphics. SVG images can be created with any text editor, but it is often more convenient to create SVG images with a drawing program.

We need to follow a few steps to create this. As Tinkercad will allow only black and white images, so we will locate that image from google with character name you want to print and putting “Stencil” word in google search for black and white images. Stencil is a specific keyword use to find a black and white image As Tinkercad will accept SVG format only. Another thing we could do is covert our image format jpg to SVG through the online converter.

After converting the file, we import the file in Tinkercad. To import, let’s follow the next activity.
