Introduction to Temperature sensor
Lesson-14 ->Interfacing of temperature sensor with Arduino Uno.
Introduction to Temperature sensor
A
temperature sensor
is an electronic device which is used to measure temperature of surroundings or environment.
It converts input data or signal into data to record or monitor changes in the temperature.
The principle of temperature sensor is the voltage across the diode terminal.
If the voltage increases then the temperature also rises across the diode.
Temperature sensor is used in many household appliances to control the temperature.
Pin Number
Pin Name
Description
1
Vcc
This Vcc pin powers the sensor, with +5V
2
Vout
This pin is a signal pin from where we can read the temperature value
3
