About this course
Aeromodelling is an enjoyable and educational hobby that involves constructing and flying model aircraft. It teaches children about aerodynamics, engineering, and physics, allowing them to build and fly various types of models, such as gliders, parachutes, and paper planes. Balsa Chuck Gliders, made of lightweight balsa wood, is a common type of model airplane used in aeromodelling. These simple designs require basic hand tools to build and are an excellent starting point for children or beginners.
The Balsa Chuck Glider is launched by hand and glides through the air, providing kids with the opportunity to test different designs and modifications to understand the principles of flight. Through aeromodelling, students not only learn about the flight but also develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and imagination through model design and decoration.
