A radio-controlled aircraft (often called RC aircraft or RC plane) is a small flying machine that is controlled remotely by an operator on the ground using a hand-held radio transmitter. The transmitter communicates with a receiver within the craft that sends signals to servomechanisms (servos) which move the control surfaces based on the position of joysticks on the transmitter. The control surfaces, in turn, affect the orientation of the plane.
There are many types of radio-controlled aircraft. For beginning hobbyists, there are park flyers and trainers. For more experienced pilots there are glow plug engine, electric powered and sailplane aircraft. For expert flyers, jets, pylon racers, helicopters, autogyros, 3D aircraft, and other high-end competition aircraft provide adequate challenge. Some models are made to look and operate like a bird instead. Replicating historic and little known types and makes of full-size aircraft as “flying scale” models, which are also possible with control line and free flight types of model aircraft.
In this modern generation, a number of model RC planes are available in the market at an affordable price.
These RC models can be a “play out of the box” or should be made out of “scratch” from a specific plan. These models generally come in kits. The various types of RC toy aircraft kits are:
Ready to Fly (RTF),
Almost ready to fly (ARF),
RC airplanes have various applications and the best among them are :
Surveillance ( It could be for military or general security as well)
Many online companies will soon be delivering products to their customers through drones. Lot of experimental trials have already been carried out and are found to be successful)
Lot of movie makers, hobbyists and professional content maker like bloggers relying up on RC drones to make videos or movies. Site imaging is also one good applications.
Can use them as our personal pets in future to send gifts or things to people.
