What is Parallel Connection?

Until now we have connected very few small circuits so we didn’t see the pattern of these connections. 

In electronics, circuits are divided into two types: “Series circuit” and “Parallel circuit”. 

Parallel Connection:

In a parallel connection, we connect components side by side, such that electricity has multiple paths to flow. In parallel circuits, electricity flows through each part independently. 

The wiring system in our house is an example of a Parallel connection of a circuit, where all appliances are controlled by individual switches.
